Vehicle manufacturer MG Motor is working in full swing on its next-generation Hector. The teaser of the new Hector touchscreen with a bold look was launched just a few months back. For it is being claimed that it is being brought as India's largest HD portrait infotainment system. At the same time, now its cabin features have been revealed.


How will the new generation Hector look?

The interiors of the next-gen Hector have been touted as a 'symphony of luxury', using soft-touch tactile. Its entire cabin comes with dual-tone oak white and black interiors. Apart from this, a leather cover has also been included in the cabin.

Talking about the features, high-end luxury AC vents have been given in the cabin with chrome trim. Also, it has India's largest 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system. Also, the next-gen Hector gets a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster to support wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play for added convenience.

Three options can be found in the new Hector

Regarding the powertrain of the next-gen Hector, it is said that its powertrain will be given the option of a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, a 1.5-liter petrol-hybrid engine, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine. Let us tell you that you get to see the same powertrain in the current model as well. Its turbo petrol engine generates power of 141​hp and torque of 250Nm. On the other hand, the petrol hybrid comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and the same output. Its diesel engine is capable of generating 67 hp of power and 350 Nm of peak torque.

Talking about the price of MG Next-Gen Hector, it is expected to cost between Rs.17 lakh to Rs.26 lakh in India. In India, it will compete with vehicles like Toyota Urban Cruiser High Rider, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Creta.
