Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 21: The Ozone Run 2024, held at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad on 5th June 2024, brought together over 1,000 families in a powerful demonstration of unity for the cause of cleaner roads and environmental sustainability. Organised by the SWAN (Save Water and Nature) team in collaboration with the Ozone Run Founders, the event showcased the city’s collective commitment to improving public hygiene and promoting eco-friendly practices. Led by SWAN Chairperson Mrs Meghana Musunuri, Secretary Mr Sridhar Vunnam, and Founders Ms Bilvoa Vunnam and Ms Teerdha Vunnam, the run received overwhelming support from local families, sponsors, and schools, further underscoring the importance of community-driven-initiatives in driving meaningful change.
Distinguished guests such as Shri Jagadeeswar Goud, MLA Contestant from Serilingampally, and Mr Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner, graced the occasion and expressed their strong support for the environmental cause. Both leaders emphasised the vital role of public engagement in achieving sustainable change and lauded the efforts of the community to come together for this initiative.
